Manganese Chromium Steel for Machine Structural use

It has good hardenability and machinability, and can be used as a tempered steel after heat treatment. It has low quenching deformation, good low temperature toughness, good strength and toughness, but low weldability. By increasing the manganese content and adding trace amounts of chromium, the oil quenching process avoids the hardening cracks and deformation caused by water quenching of normal high carbon steels. Better toughness and hardening properties (deeper hardening) than normal high-carbon steels. Easy to process, high hardness and wear resistance of general high-carbon steel.

Product Applications

It is suitable for the manufacture of pistons, bolts, gears, spindles, worm gears, worm gears, seal bushings, various kinds of punching dies, saw blades, hairpins and other parts...and other mechanical components that require high hardness and wear resistance.
